Problems needing attention in maintaining construction machinery tyres
tyres are an important part of wheeled vehicles, and their technical conditions directly affect the traction, trafficability, stability, safety, comfort and economy of wheeled vehicles. According to statistics, the maintenance cost of tires accounts for about 15% of the normal maintenance cost of the whole vehicle. Analyzing the causes of abnormal tire wear and taking corresponding countermeasures are of practical significance to prevent abnormal tire wear, prolong service life, save costs, improve its use efficiency and ensure safe operation. By analyzing the causes of abnormal wear of tires, this paper puts forward some measures to prolong the service life of tires for your reference practice, so as to save costs, protect the machine and obtain better economic benefits
abnormal wear caused by various factors during the use of tires is a headache for drivers. The service life of tires will be reduced due to high or low tire pressure, good overload compression performance, poor four-wheel alignment, rough operation caused by unskilled driving skills of operators, unreasonable tire selection and installation, and damage of external hard objects. How to effectively avoid these abnormal wear and tear, we need to do a good job in the following aspects:
first, strictly abide by the tire inflation standard. After inflation, we should check whether each part leaks, and regularly check the tire pressure to ensure that it meets the standard. Cultivate the habit of using a barometer to measure air pressure, which cannot be judged by the naked eye. Ensure that the tire has a certain elasticity, and its deformation does not exceed the specified range when bearing the specified load, so as to ensure that the vehicle has good stability and comfort during driving. The pressure of the spare tire should be relatively high to avoid running out of gas for a long time
secondly, it is necessary to correctly select and install tires, and use corresponding inner tubes according to tire specifications. Tires assembled on the same machine shall ensure the same brand, structure and performance. If this cannot be achieved, tyres of the same brand, specification, pattern and type should be assembled on the same axle; When replacing new tires, the whole vehicle or the same axle should be replaced at the same time; Tyres with directional patterns shall be installed in the specified rolling direction; When changing to a new tire, install the new tire on the front wheel and the repaired tire on the rear wheel. To ensure driving safety, retreaded tires are not allowed to be used as steering wheels (front wheels)
third, regularly rotate tires. After the vehicle has been driven for a period of time, the fatigue and wear of the front and rear tires are different, so it should be transposed in time according to the regulations. There are two kinds of tyre changing methods: cross method and cycle method. The cross transposition method is applicable to vehicles that often drive on the road with large camber, while the original research and small-scale test of cycle technology are mainly based on universities and scientific research institutions in the alliance. The transposition method is applicable to vehicles that often drive on flat roads
fourth, it is also necessary to control the tire temperature. During the driving process, the tire generates heat due to friction and deformation, which increases the temperature and pressure inside the tire. When the temperature of the tire is very high, the method of deflation and pressure reduction cannot be adopted, and the tire cannot be splashed with water to cool down, so as not to accelerate the damage of the tire. It should be divided into hydraulic horizontal tensile testing machine and electronic horizontal tensile testing machine according to the power. Stop in the shade and rest until the tire temperature decreases. When the vehicle stops on the way and arrives at the site, it is necessary to develop the parking habit of sliding safely. Choose a flat, clean and oil-free ground for parking, and each tire should land smoothly, especially when the vehicle is loaded overnight. Pay more attention to selecting the parking place, and jack up the rear wheels if necessary. When the vehicle is out of service for a long time, the frame should be supported with wood blocks to reduce the load on the tires; When the tire has no air pressure, it cannot be parked locally, and the wheel should be jacked up
fifth, tyres should not be stored near sunlight, oils, acids, combustibles and chemical corrosives. All tires should be stored in a cool, dry and dark room, and the tires should be placed vertically. It is strictly forbidden to put them horizontally, stack them or hang them in a string. The storage period shall not exceed three years. If the inner tube needs to be stored separately, it should be filled with an appropriate amount of air and should not be folded, placed flat or stacked. If it is not stored separately, it should be placed in the outer tube and inflated appropriately
in addition, in the severe cold areas in winter, due to the low temperature, the rubber brittleness of the tire becomes larger and the elasticity decreases. When the vehicle is parked overnight or for a long time and then drives again, the clutch pedal should be raised slowly to start smoothly. Drive at a low speed for the first few kilometers, and then drive normally after the tire temperature rises. If the vehicle stops on the ice for a period of time, the grounding part may be frozen. Be extra careful when starting to prevent the tread from being torn. When the vehicle is parked in the open air for a long time in severe cold areas, in order to prevent the tire from freezing with the ground, wood or sand should be placed under the tire
